In the court documents, the 27-year-old singer declared, "The parties have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party." She signed the papers with a smiley face next to her name.
According to the February 7 filing, Perry also asked the court not to award spousal support to Brand. The "Teenage Dream" singer additionally requested that her name is to be restored to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.
Perry and Brand got married in October 2010. After weeks of break-up speculations, Brand filed for divorce in December 2011. The estranged couple reportedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement, but it was reported recently that the "Rock of Ages" star won't be asking for money from his singer wife.
The couple revealed their split at the end of last year when Brand filed for divorce and are now set to have their marriage officially ended on June 30, once the mandatory waiting period is over.
They were married for just one year before trouble brewed and as they signed the papers, it was apparent Perry was happy to close this chapter of her life.
Signing the documents, which were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday, she did so with her trademark signature that came complete with a smiley face.The papers also show Perry has reverted back to her maiden name of Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, dropping her marital name Brand.
