Grand theft auto v official trailer
Grand theft auto v official trailer_ Grand Theft Auto V's first trailer shows off a mock Wast Coast metropolis that makes neighbors of the homeless, the hustler and the high roller.
Typical of a Rockstar Games title, the video's narrator sought to escape the shackles of a criminal lifestyle, setting up GTA V as a satirical commentary on modern city life.
Grand Theft Auto's last trip to Los Angeles -- or Los Santos, as the series has it -- was in 2004 with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Previous entries to the GTA series feature three linked locations, and the debut trailer for V hints that as well as Los Santos, players can expect to see a new district in Los Puerta and perhaps an expanded Vinewood and surrounds.
In contrast to GTA tradition, however, the GTA V trailer appears to support the theory that players will step into the shoes of multiple characters during their time on the coastline.
Rockstar has not named a release date, though 2012 is rumored (2011's comical crime caper genre belongs to Saints Row: The Third), and neither have they identified target platforms for the game.
Coupled with the resurrection of a pre-existing city, that lends further weight to speculation that an appearance on next-generation hardware is on the cards: if not Wii U, then on unannounced Xbox and PlayStation successors, if not the Vita, 3DS or iPhone and Android handsets in some capacity.
