She has taken charge of the invitations and couldn’t have placed Jefferson – the father of her eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace – any closer at the July 2 nuptials.
It may leave Jamie, guitarist with The Kills, regretting leaving Kate all the hard work while he is away on tour.

‘Jefferson is going to the wedding,’ Lila’s godfather James Brown said at the GQ Style party last week.
Hairdresser James added: ‘Jefferson and Kate are still very close.’
Kate, 37, and Jefferson were seen in intimate conversation at AnOther Magazine’s party in London last month.

But insiders say the presence of Dazed & Confused founder Jefferson, 39, who dated Kate for four years, will not be welcomed on Jamie’s side of the aisle.
‘Eyebrows have been raised, to say the least,’ said a source.
‘It’s far from ideal for Jamie or his family to have to see the man that Kate almost married at their wedding. But Jamie has become used to Kate’s ways, and he’d do anything for Lila Grace – even if that means inviting her father to be at the top table.’
