What's supposed to sound like mere baby babble, to some, sounds more like foul language.
The dolls are geared for children ages two and older but some parents say they're not child friendly and fear youngsters will repeat what they hear from their doll. A Florida TV station let shoppers listen to the giggling doll for themselves and each time, they noticed inappropriate language. They claim the doll is saying 'crazy b----.'
Many parents say Toys R Us should pull the cursing doll from store shelves. Company spokesperson Jennifer Albano says the dolls are here to stay. She says the store has not not gotten widespread complaints about the dolls. But comments listed on the company's website show those who purchased the doll are upset and outraged about the doll's language. The spokesperson would not confirm or deny what the doll is actually saying, but did confirm a lawsuit has been filed in Arkansas.
Toys R Us says anyone can return the doll with a receipt.
