Whitney Houston refuses to buckle seat belt on Delta Flight
Whitney Houston refuses to buckle seat belt on Delta Flight, A DEFIANT Whitney Houston was almost kicked off a passenger jet for refusing to buckle her seat belt.

Houston reportedly "got diva" when a flight attendant requested the Grammy winner buckle up as her Detroit-bound Delta Airlines flight prepared to take off from Atlanta on Wednesday, TMZ reported yesterday.

Another crew member came over to Houston's seat, telling the singer she would be ejected from the plane if she did not comply with the safety rule.

Houston, 48, finally acquiesced and allowed the flight attendant to buckle the belt for her and the plane was cleared for takeoff.

She was traveling to Detroit to start shooting an upcoming film, TMZ said.

Though Houston has been in and out of rehab in the past, a source close to The Bodyguard star insisted her behavior was not related to substance abuse.
