The incident occurred at 8201 S. Santa Fe Drive. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a third party about a stabbing involving two males, one of which was believed to be an intruder. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office transferred the call to the Littleton Police Department after learning the address.
Officers arriving on scene immediately began lifesaving measures. The victim was transported to Littleton Adventist Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. He had sustained multiple stab wounds at about 11:47 p.m., according to police.
Police have not yet released the victim’s name or relationship to the male who stabbed him. LPD is working with the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office to investigate the matter, but no formal charges have been filed.
