As Carey, 42, and Cannon, 30, prepare to welcome twins (a boy and a girl!), UsMagazine.com is taking a trip down memory lane and looking back at their love story.

Cannon's secret to a happy marriage? "Lots of sex!" he jokes. His wife agreed that, "of course," sex is vital to their relationship, but "I'm shy. I don't say things like that. That's where he comes in."
The pair can't wait to expand their family -- and tell Us that after a heartbreaking miscarriage, conceiving their twins truly has been a miracle.


"We definitely cried" upon learning of her successful pregnancy, Cannon says. "We still cry all the time. It's an emotional journey."

Carey told Us it still "amazes" her that she and Cannon will be parents together. "He's a great person, and we have more in common than not...I know people initially were, 'What? Those two?' But I think people who know us get it."
