Snooki pregnant rumor
The 24-year-old Jersey Shore reality star finally does seem to be settling down. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has been in an ongoing relationship with Jionni Lavalle for over a year. But is motherhood really in the cards?
Fox News indicated an insider said, “She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family.” The source further stated Snooki had a “big announcement coming.”
Recent postings at Snooki's Twitter account caused fans to wonder if she was pregnant. She posted about feeling sick and having cravings late at night. On January 25, Snooki tweeted, “Late night craving...yogurt hits the fricken spot! Mmmmmm.”
Snooki also showed her feelings for her boyfriend on January 29, tweeting, “I love Sundays with Jionni” and “Snuggled up with my man...goodnight tweedos.”
With everyone excited about the possibility of Snooki having her first bambino, the truth had to be told. A rep for Snooki told E!Online there is no truth to the rumors about Snooki and the MTV star is not pregnant.
The big announcement is likely to be about the Jersey Shore spinoff with her pal Jenni “J-Woww” Farley. While fans won't get to see Snooki pregnant yet, they may get to see her in a new show with J-Woww.
Star Magazine indicated MTV might have to “redo the creative direct of her spinoff because of her pregnancy.” Now that the pregnancy rumors are moot, there are other concerns about Snooki's spin-off with J-Woww.
It seems Snooki and J-Woww might not be welcome to film their spinoff in Hoboken, New Jersey, home of Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.
According to the Washington Post, a message posted to the city's website revealed Mayor Dawn Zimmer said the city council voted unanimously to deny the filming permit. The permit was filed by MTV and 495 productions and denied, “based on the negative impact it would have on the health, safety and welfare of our community.”
It also came out that 495 Productions did not get a permit to film in one location, which didn't please Zimmer. She said as mayor of a community that “experienced significant corruption in the recent past," she was writing to make formal notice there would be zero tolerance for this approach in Hoboken.
It is unclear whether the Jersey Shore spinoff would be the one starring Snooki and J-Woww. There is an additional spinoff planned for Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio. Since Snooki and J-Woww were spotted in Hoboken, it was assumed the spinoff rejection involved the two guidettes.
Either way, nothing is standing in Snooki's way of business as usual. She took to Facebook to write about NYC, lots of press with J-Woww and said, “I can't wait for our spinoff!” Still enjoying life with fist-pumping attitude, Snooki just expressed on Twitter, “Don't f--- with us!” with a group pic showing her wearing a sexy outfit.
