Apple-y ever after_Who knew marriage equality could be so tasty? In a show of support for the legalization of marriage for same-sex couples in the UK, Ben & Jerry's has renamed its Apple Pie flavor Apple-y Ever After.
This isn't the first time the ice cream company has supported marriage equality with ice cream: In 2009, Ben & Jerry's renamed Chubby Hubby to Hubby Hubby to celebrate gay marriage legalization in Vermont.
Gay rights organization Stonewall has drafted a Parliamentary Bill for legal marriage to encompass same-sex couples. The UK government is debating the issue this month.
Ben & Jerry's has also created a Facebook app, where users can "marry" someone of the same sex to show solidarity for the cause.
Of course, whether gay or straight, if there's a bump in the marriage road, there's always Chocolate Therapy, which hopefully won't be followed by the not-so-tasty flavor Banana Splitsville.
