Jamie Lynn Sigler and Cutter Dykstra, formerly of hit television show "The Sopranos," is dating baseball player Cutter Dykstra, son of the former Mets star Lenny Dykstra.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler's new relationship was the result of some wise matchmaking on the part of her close friend, according to KSN.com. Joanna Garcia and her husband, New York Yankees first baseman and outfielder Nick Swisher, decided that Sigler needed some romance in her life.

The pair introduced Sigler to Washington Nationals infielder Cutter Dykstra, and the two have been dating steadily since then.

Things are going so well that Sigler and Dykstra were rumored to have gone on a getaway to a Florida hotspot, according to The New York Post. The rumor was confirmed by Dykstra, who tweeted his feelings to his new girlfriend.

"Had an amazing time with you, I miss you so much," posted the baseball player. "The last week flew by."

An insider told The New York Post that Sigler was very happy with the new relationship, and that even though the two live a ways away- Sigler lives in Los Angeles, Calif., and Dykstra plays for Washington- they make it work.

Sigler has been dating Dykstra "for a few months, and things are going really well," a source told The New York Post. "I haven't seen her this happy in a long time."

With any luck, Sigler and Dykstra can continue the good times. Sigler's last few relationships ended abruptly.

In 2003, she married her agent, A. J. DiScala, changing her last name because she is a very "traditional girl," according to Softpedia. Unfortunately, the marriage dissolved, and in 2005, she and DiScala separated. She changed her name back to Sigler as well.

Her other two relationships were with high-profile celebrities; Jerry Ferrara, who plays "Turtle" on the show "Entourage" began dating Sigler in 2008, and Mark Sanchez, New York Jets quarterback, dated the actress from late 2009 to 2010.
