kim kardashian flour, Kim Kardashian met her fate with a bag of flour last night at The London West Hollywood, where she intended to promote her new fragrance, True Reflection, before being covered in white powder by a woman in the hotel lobby.
"That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me," Kim told E! Online. "Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there."
But Kardashian isn't the first in her clan to be covered with the baking ingredient. In December 2011, Kardashian's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, was similarly flour-bombed. "This is for Kris Humphries," a man yelled before flinging flour in Cheban's face as he was exiting his jewelry launch at the Kardashians' New York Dash store in Soho.
"Can you believe how crazy people are?" Cheban told The Huffington Post following the incident. "I am disturbed and embarrassed that people still act like this ... Throwing white powder around in New York City is no joke."
Kardashian was reportedly concerned about her own safety after Cheban's flour run-in.
Sheriff's deputies say a woman threw powder on Kim Kardashian in the lobby of a West Hollywood hotel where the television personality was hosting an event.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called to the unidentified hotel on North San Vicente Boulevard shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.
Deputy Peter Gomez says the woman who allegedly threw the powder was detained by hotel security and later released at the scene.
Gomez says Kardashian told the deputies she did not want to press charges against the woman and a non-criminal battery report was taken
Gomez says paramedics were called to the hotel, but Kardashian refused medical treatment.
He says Kardashian returned to her room, removed the powder from her hair and clothing and returned to the event.
