Gordon Ramsay + hired private detectives to investigate father-in-law, Gordon Ramsay threatened to distribute explicit pictures of one of his female directors, taken through her bedroom window.
The grainy images were taken last year at accountant Sara Stewart’s £2.5million home and show her semi-naked with her lover, Chris Hutcheson, the chef’s father-in-law and business partner.
Ramsay later boasted in a text message that the ‘shots are amazing’ and warned he would be ‘happy to pass the whole ******* lot’ to the News of the World.
In an exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday, Mrs Stewart, who says she worked with Ramsay for 12 years, said she was convinced they were taken by an investigator hired by the chef.
It is known that at about the same time he was using private detectives to monitor 63-year-old Hutcheson, whom he suspected of financial misconduct.
Mrs Stewart told Ramsay she found the pictures ‘extremely threatening’ and clearly intended to put her in fear for her safety.
To her horror, he responded by sending her one of the images. She says it was taken from behind a 5ft fence at the bottom of her back garden in Ascot, Berkshire, and shows her in an intimate setting.
In an email, Ramsay told her: ‘When ******* my father-in-law, would you be so kind to be little more discreet and close your curtains in order that you remain safe and out of view from the public footpath running outside your mansion.’
Mrs Stewart says he then sent the same picture to four of his colleagues, the boss of a TV production company and his publicist. All six were later ordered by lawyers to delete them.
‘I was bemused at first, then that gave way to visceral anger,’ she said.
‘What on earth was Gordon playing at? I have shown him utmost loyalty. I have no idea why he would get someone to spy on me. It’s horrendous.’
