Kayte Walsh Grammer, Kayte Walsh isn’t just another notch on Kelsey Grammer’s belt - she’s now a permanent tattoo on his right hip.

Grammer, 57, kept it low-key as he and his blushing bride wandered into a tattoo parlor in Chicago's Noble Square Saturday.

The “Boss” star reportedly asked for a simple tattoo of Kayte’s first name, small, in blue ink, and just above his right hip, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The tattoo cost just $60, the cheapest the shop offers, according to the paper.

“He was pretty cool about it,” tattoo parlor owner Bob Jones said of the actor. “He said it was his first tattoo and he did some research and said, ‘You guys seemed to be the best place to go.’”

According to the paper, a younger employee at the front counter didn’t initially recognize the “Frasier” star and asked him for his ID. The actor momentarily balked, but then forked over his ID.

“They were just normal people. We were talking about tattoos,” a fellow customer told the Sun-Times. “He said, ‘I’m going to get Kayte’s name.’ My friend asked, ‘So how long have you been dating that he wanted to tattoo your name?’

She said, ‘We are married.’ I figured with his background he should just put a ‘K’ with a period to give him some flexibility.”

Grammer and Walsh married in February 2011 after reportedly meeting on a plane bound for New York.

He has previously been married three times, most famously to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer.
