Arrest For Saying Santa’s Not Real--Arrested for saying Santa's not real? That's not the whole story, but it's close. The incident took place at the Santa Parade in Kingston, Ontario over the weekend. According to information made available on Nov. 19, 2012, the 24-year-old man was arrested on charges of public intoxication and breach of probation. He wasn't actually arrested for saying Santa's not real, but the fact that he was yelling that Santa Claus doesn't exist while at a Christmas-themed parade probably helped bring unwanted attention to himself from the people who called police.

According to Metro News, Kingston Constable Scott Kingston described the man as having hair that "looked like a set of devil horns protruding from his head." The man began yelling that Santa isn't real about one hour after the Santa Parade began. It was approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, and the parade of Christmas floats was making its merry way down Princess Street when the disturbance culminated in the man's arrest. It looks like someone's getting a lump of coal in his stocking this year.
