This is the very ring Sharon Tate was wearing on that fateful night in August 1969 when she was violently murdered, along with her unborn baby, by Charles Manson and his clan. According to reports, Polanski pulled the ring off Tate's finger upon identifying her brutally slain body at the morgue.

Now, one fan or collector can own the piece of macabre Hollywood history. But who would really want this? Would you want a piece of jewelry from such a gruesome crime scene? It's pretty sick, right?

Regardless of your stance, this isn't the only weird, dark item hitting the celebrity auction circuit as of late. Coming up on Dec. 17, Julien's Auction house was slated to auction off the headboard from the bed Michael Jackson slept in when he died in 2009, but the item was recently removed from the celebrity sale. Now they're just selling a mirror from MJ's bedroom, some of his furniture, and a chalkboard with the words "I love Daddy" written on it by one of his kids. A little less creepy, but still, very strange.
