Kid cudi ben breedlove_ Rapper Kid Cudi gave a touching response on his blog after learning of the death of a young fan named Ben Breedlove. Breedlove, from Austin, Texas, actually posted a YouTube video last week about his lifelong heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. In the video, the 18-year-old revealed that he saw a vision of himself and the rapper, which helped him have the strength to go on.
After learning of Ben Breedlove's death, Kid Cudi blogged, "I am so sad about Ben Breedlove. I watched the video he left for the world to see, and him seeing me in detail, in his vision really warmed my heart. I broke down, I am to tears because I hate how life is so unfair. This has really touched my heart in a way I can't describe, this is why I do what I do. Why I write my life, and why I love you all so much. Life is really f---ed up sometimes, but I know Ben is at Peace, and I hope he gets a chance to sit and talk with my Dad. We love you Ben. Forever. Thank you for loving me. To Ben's family, you raised a real hero, he's definitely mine. You have my love."
Unfortunately, Ben Breedlove passed away on Christmas Day 2011, but at least he was able to leave the world with his YouTube videos. In them, he said he was proud of himself as he should have been. Hopefully his family is proud of him too. They were obviously blessed to have him in their lives for as long as they did.
