Miranda Lambert wedding Don Strange ranch texas, The deal's done, folks--Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton can now legally claim their status as country music's reigning power couple. The pair married in Texas on Saturday night, just a little more than one year to the day after Shelton proposed to Lambert in the woods near her Oklahoma home.

According to US Weekly, the wedding took place at the Don Strange Ranch, located near San Antonio. The location's website describes it as "a real working longhorn ranch," but based on the photo gallery available, it sure looks like a mighty nice-looking place to raise cattle.

Lambert and Shelton filled their 500+ guest list with plenty of star names, including Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, and many others. The bride reportedly wore her mother's wedding gown. And yes, it seems to be true that venison (as widely reported pre-wedding) was served for dinner.
The couple are now likely off on their honeymoon, the location of which is as yet undisclosed. Let's hope Shelton rose to the traditional groom's challenge of planning the trip--back in August last year, he groaned when asked about honeymoon planning. "I hope we can just go home," he joked, "but I don't think she'll let me get away with that."
