Basketball Wives Vanessa Bryant _ Producers of reality TV show "Basketball Wives" are preparing to make a lucrative offer to Kobe Bryant's soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa Bryant, TMZ reported Monday, citing sources.


It was reported last week that Vanessa Bryant has been awarded $75 million in a divorce property settlement with the Lakers star. Now the VH1 show's producers want her as a lead character.

"Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level," a source said.

The pair filed for divorce after 10 years in December amid reports of Kobe Bryant's numerous extramarital affairs. She reportedly is seeking joint custody of their two daughters, Natalia, 8, and 5-year-old Gianna.

The Bryants married without a prenuptial agreement in 2001 when he was 21 and she was 18.
