Brooke Mueller extends rehab stay
Brooke Mueller extends rehab stay _Brooke Mueller’s loved ones are hoping she will seek treatment following her arrest, it has been reported.
The ex-wife of Charlie Sheen was arrested on Friday night in Aspen on suspicion of felony cocaine possession and third degree assault.
She is accused of attacking a woman at a bar, and was released from the Pitkin County jail on Saturday on $11,000 bond.
A source close to Brooke believes she needs to enter rehab to clean up her act and hopes this incident will be the wake-up call she needs.
"Brooke can't stay sober on her own,” a source told People. "Maybe this [arrest] will force her to go into a treatment centre for a long stay. Thirty-day rehabs won't work for her.
"Her family has been trying to get her to do this, now maybe the court will force her to get the help she needs! She has enough family to take care of the kids while she's away."
The 34-year-old has been in rehab facilities several times.
TMZ claim to have footage of Brooke entering the Escobar nightclub minutes after the alleged altercation on Friday.
She is apparently seen dancing with a drink in her hand as she bumps into other revellers. A few minutes later, police arrive and take her outside.
“Minutes after Brooke Mueller allegedly assaulted someone Friday night, she sashayed into an Aspen nightclub like nothing just happened,” reports TMZ.
Brooke is due to appear at the Colorado District Court on December 19.
It has been almost two years since her ex-husband Charlie was infamously arrested during a domestic violence incident with Brooke in Aspen during the Christmas holidays.
The former couple have two-year-old twin sons Bob and Max together.
