Lady Gaga producer insults Madonna, Lady Gaga’s producer DJ White Shadow has hit back at Madonna’s subtle claim that Lady Gaga’s hit single “Born This Way” was a redo of Madonna’s “Express Yourself.”
DJ White originally tweeted: “And obviously: someone should take there old lady meds before they are allowed to talk in public.”
The producer later toned down his tweets, saying: "I obviously do not hate Madonna, or belittle her talent or achievements," he wrote. "However, if she thinks we stole a song from her she is wrong."
Madonna was quoted as telling Newsweek that the first time she heard “Born This Way”, she thought, “What a wonderful way to redo my song.”
She also called the song “reductive” on Good Morning America.
