Lea Michele appears to be taking her budding on-screen romance with co-star Cory Monteith into the real world, according to Life & Style.

The twosome, who play an engaged high school couple on the hit FOX show, reportedly spent Valentine’s Day together, enjoying a cozy night out at Los Angeles eatery Il Covo.

“They were into each other all night,” an eyewitness told the magazine. “She was very happy, flirting and touching Cory a lot. He just stared at her with puppy-dog eyes.”

Despite nearby patrons, Michele, 25, and Monteith, 29, apparently couldn’t hide their affection for one another in public as they giggled and held hands throughout the evening. The witness claims Monteith went as far as feeding his on-screen love interest spaghetti, to which Michele reciprocated by affectionately rubbing his back.

Three days later, the pair was spotted out again on another date at the Ritz-Carlton, reports Life & Style.

The couple’s newfound romance has apparently been a long time coming. Michele, who once said Monteith was “like my brother,” has continuously gushed about the Canadian actor in her interviews.

“On romance between cast members … I think if it was ever going to happen, it would have happened by now. I mean, for me, if it was going to happen with anybody it would have happened with Cory,” the songstress admitted to Glamour UK last year. “The moment I saw him, I thought ‘This boy is very cute.’ ”

If the rumors are true, this would be Michele’s first relationship since her split from longtime beau Theo Stockman in September.
