"Invisible children", the organization behind 'Kony 2012', has released a new video today slamming it's critics of the original video.

“Kony 2012” has gone viral and targets the Ugandan guerilla leader, amassing almost 10 million views and celebrity backers like Oprah, Ryan Seacrest and Rihanna.


The documentary film aims to expose the heinous acts of the Ugandan war criminal and was made by the U.S. organization Invisible Children. It tells the story of a child soldier named Jacob and the charity’s push to have the U.S. intervene to stop the LRA.
Joseph Kony has been on the run since being indicted for war crimes by the Hague in 2005.

The "KONY 2012" movement, explained in the viral video, sets the date for Kony's capture as the end of 2012.

The hashtag "#stopkony" was among top trending topics on Twitter overnight, competing for the top spot with the new iPad and Peyton Manning.

"Invisible Children" and "Uganda" were also among the top trending topics on Twitter on Wednesday.

President Barack Obama announced he was sending 100 special forces soldiers to Kampala in October to help Uganda track down Kony, and in December it emerged US special forces had set up a base in the Central African Republic as part of their regional effort to look for the LRA.

The Stop Kony campaign by Invisible Children has not gone without controversy.
