Lohan filmed a few hilarious promos with cast member Kenan Thompson, which gives us hope the Mean Girls star is getting back on track. In the promo, Lohan jokes about her fourth time hosting and her personal troubles.
"If only magazines and websites would have documented my activities more closely," she complains, tongue firmly planted in cheek.
Her appearance on SNL follows a pre-recorded interview with Today's Matt Lauer that is scheduled to air tomorrow. In the interview, Lohan maintains she will avoid nightclubs and hopes to stay "clean and sober."
"That's not my thing anymore," Lohan told Lauer. "I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody. And I like that."
