Police say one man stole $25,000 of Tide over several months before he was arrested.

With retail prices rising to as much as $20 a bottle, police say it's an easy sell on the black market.

It doesn't go bad and carries no identifying information similar to electronic devices.

Authorities believe Tide is being targeted because it's bright orange logo makes it instantly recognizable.
