Chuck Grassley And Obama Stupid_Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) expressed his disapproval of the president's recent comments about the Supreme Court, apparently referring to Obama as "stupid" on Twitter.

Obama, who taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago, said Monday that he was "confident" that the Supreme Court would not strike down the Affordable Care Act, because to do so "would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."

In a tweet sent Saturday morning, Grassley said he wasn't "outraged" by the president's statement because he believes the American people "r not stupid as this x prof of con law."

Grassley is known for his colorful (and at times indecipherable) Twitter feed. In January, his account was hacked by online activists protesting his support of the much maligned Protect IP Act, which Grassley co-sponsored. The hacked messages were particularly notable for their use of full sentences -- the senator typically tweets in shorthand.

The Iowa Republican is not the only senator condemning Obama's remarks. On Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said the president had "crossed a dangerous line" and suggested Obama "back off."
