Golden state warriors and lamar odom, Even with All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge unavailable for this game and possibly the rest of the season, the Golden State Warriors were unable to stop the Portland Trail Blazers and the high-scoring efforts by Jamal Crawford and J.J. Hickson. Looking forward to the Warriors next matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, the Warriors will now enter a difficult stretch of games where they will play five straight games against playoff-bound teams such as the Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Aside from playing the Mavericks twice in their final nine games of the season, the two teams have been linked as of late due to Lamar Odom. Odom, who was placed on the team's inactive list on April 9, will not see a single minute for the rest of the season but is a talented small forward who could nicely complement a starting five of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, David Lee, and Andrew Bogut next year. While he will play no factor in this game, Odom's future and potential connection to the Warriors during the offseason makes him a player on the team's radar once the season is over.
