Shriver angry 60 Minutes,One of the biggest scandals to rock Hollywood in recent memory was the "Sperminator" scandal, involving former California governor and once-again movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger. On Friday, "60 Minutes" posted a short preview of an interview scheduled to air on its season premiere on Sept. 30, 2012 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, in which he discusses that scandal. In mid-2011, Schwarzenegger admitted that he had fathered a "love child" with a former maide, Mildred Patricia Baena, thus earning him the rather unfavorable nickname which quickly circulated among tabloids and media. The appearance on "60 Minutes" will also promote his new book, "Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story," which releases on Monday.
In the interview, "60 Minutes" reporter Lesley Stahl reminds Schwarzenegger that Maria Shriver gave up her career for him. She said: "She gave up her television career for you. I mean, wow! Was this just the most unbelievable act of betrayal to Maria?" To that, Schwarzenegger can be seen replying, "I think it was the stupidest thing I've done in the whole relationship. It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids." In the book, Schwarzenegger notes of the affair that resulted in a son named Joseph, but he also writes of another affair he has outside of his relationship to Shriver. Schwarzenegger continued: "She knows that it's about my whole life and that I would not write a book and kind of leave out that part and make people feel like, 'Well, wait a minute. Are we just getting a book about his success stories and not talk about his failures? ... I wanted to write a book about me.'" That may be but sources familiar with the situation say that Shriver is not happy about the "60 Minutes" piece. Her anger is less about the piece overall and more about the fact that CBS did not contact her for comment until after the interview had been completed. According to the sources, Maria had "no interest" in commenting, because of the difficulty of trying to force a short comment of hers in a lengthy interview. I addition, a close friend of hers told TMZ that the book is all about good PR for Schwarzenegger, who only now is beginning to enter the Hollywood scene. "She knows the book is a big PR stunt to get back in the public's good graces."
