Total Solar Eclipse 2012-

A total solar eclipse will take place on 13-14 November, 2012 and will be visible from northern Australia and the southern Pacific Ocean. Solar Eclipse tours are getting popular last decades, thousand of so called "eclipse chasers" are going this year to Australia or even to the ocean cruises.
Want to join them in this this one-in-a-lifetime experience? Then you'll need to know what are the best spots:
Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Probably the best place to observe eclipse. Biggest city in the area is Cairns - it's quite a big town on the shore with population over 150,000 and many hotels (but be hurry - all of them are almost booked!). Totalilty will last for 2 minutes just after sunrise. Try also Port Douglas, Atheron or Daintree National Park.
West and East Arnhelm. That's Northen Australia, totality will be shoter here - 1 minutes. But the places are more wild and beautiful. And there would be no cro-o-owds of tourists as in Cairns.
In the ocean. In the ocean, where eclipse will take its beginning, totality will last for 3-4 minutes! The only problem - there is no islands on the eclipse line. The nearest port is Auckland, New Zeland, so you can make a 3-4 day cruise from here to The Eclipse. As planned, there would be several live web broadcastings of this eclipse. At least three of them from Australia and at least one from New Zeland. Please come back later, we will post the links to the broadcasting here the day before the total eclipse.
More information is coming soon!
