But in the worst case scenario, Mayweather could do some time if he’s convicted for domestic violence. There is also the matter of Mayweather’s defamation case with Manny Pacquiao.

If Mayweather loses this legal fight, he’s going to owe money to Pacquiao depending on the award. This too could be a factor that may bring Mayweather back to the ring sooner. If he loses, he’s going to need money. Mayweather hasn’t fought since March of last year in his bout against Shane Mosley. Mayweather seems to fight only when he needs money. When he’s got money, he stays away from the ring. Well, Mayweather might need money soon. In fact, he may need a lot of it.
