Authorities say the pure, light sand in the town of Leba in the country’s north is up for grabs to everyone — from toddlers to construction companies — after moving dunes in the Slowinski National Park started to clog up the beach and local waterways.

Leba tourism official Pawel Dabrowski said Thursday that the sand is getting into a canal leading into the town’s picturesque port, and constantly needs to be dredged out at high cost.

He says the sand is for free, except for a 82 zloty ($24; (euro) 19) administrative fee for trucks.

Robin Thicke Car Accident, Singer Robin Thicke was involved in a car accident when his expensive Porsche hit a parked car on Wednesday night. According to TMZ, was on Sunset Blvd when the accident occurred.

NMichigan oil spill,The Canadian operator of an oil pipeline that ruptured in southwestern Michigan two years ago, causing the most expensive onshore spill in U.S. history, failed to deal adequately with structural problems detected years ago and to respond appropriately to the catastrophe, the National Transportation Safety Board said Tuesday.
Enbridge Inc. knew in 2005 that its pipeline near Marshall, a city 95 miles west of Detroit, was cracked and corroded, but it didn't perform excavations that ultimately might have prevented the rupture, NTSB investigators told the five-member board in Washington before it approved the findings and 19 safety recommendations.
Enbridge didn't realize the pipeline was gushing oil into the Kalamazoo River and an enjoining creek for more than 17 hours, when a gas company worker pointed it out, and during that time Enbridge control center personnel twice pumped more oil into the ruptured line, investigators found.
"Learning about Enbridge's poor handling of the rupture, you can't help but think of the Keystone Kops," NTSB Chairman Deborah Hersman said at Tuesday's meeting. "Why didn't they recognize what was happening? What took so long?"

The Oscar-winning actress is currently shooting police comedy The Heat and an officer working on the set assisted in chasing a man suspected of the fatal stabbing.
The victims were all male and believed to be aged between 17 and 21. The stabbing allegedly took place yesterday following an argument that spilled out into a parking lot, just a block away from the movie set.
