Bethenny Frankel Divorce-Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are showing their bitterness in divorce court, and now a judge has stepped in to try and calm their differences. The former couple are currently embroiled are fighting over the custody of their three-year-old daughter Bryn.
However, after Jason allegedly secretly recorded his former wife and her staff, the presiding judge reportedly cautioned them both and ordered them to hand over any recordings.
Jason recorded Bethenny along with their nanny and her other staff and hacked into their emails, but Frankel hasn’t retaliated.
Even so, they have now both been ordered to hand over any recordings before October 15.
The warring pair are headed for trial in December after being unable to settle their differences in the courtroom last Thursday when talk show host Bethenny insisted on sole physical custody of their daughter.
Jason is said to be furious that his 42-year-old ex is “trying to axe him out of their daughter’s life.”
“She makes all of these public statements that she hoped the divorce would be amicable, but then filed for sole custody of Bryn,” an insider told RadarOnline. “How could it have remained amicable when Bethenny is doing that? Did she honestly believe Jason would just walk away from their daughter,” the source added.
Jason is also seeking child support, but Bethenny’s iron-clad prenup is expected to keep him from getting her $100 million fortune.
Meanwhile, the former Real Housewives Of New York City star, who filed for divorce in January, has talked quite a bit about her split recently.
“I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life. I never heard how excruciating it is,” she told Good Day New York.
The star, who tied the knot with Jason in 2010, said she can’t even think about getting married again, but there have been reports that she’s been seen with hedge fund manager Warren Lichtenstein.
